Beijing Palace Goldfish is a live object of ornamental art with a long-standing history and profound Chinese cultural background. Pond-raised goldfish has its origin in the Southern Song Dynasty. As early as in the yaer of 1127AD duing the Southern Song period, goldfish was already bred as in the fishpong of the imperial court.In the year of 1502during the reign of Shenzong of the Ming Dynasty, goldfishas ,as a fish species with extremely high ornament value,found its way to Japan along with many other objects of artwork.Approximately in 1611,goldfish was brought to Portugal, In succeeded in raising the breed of goldfish. The Chinese Palace Goldfish,as a live object of art and bringing peace and good-luck to the peoples of various countries,has presently become increasingly popular among people throughout the world!
